All, small bit of advice.
Saw a bootlid for my car (mines rusty) on ebay, pictures looked exactly what im after and it was local, seeing as it was local pick up only it was perfect!
Mailed the seller to enquire about condition further, no response in two days. No bother, nobody had bid so I stuck a bid in.
Few days elapsed and I won the boot for starting price. I then messaged him to give him my mobile number, explain I had won, lived in next town and was available to pick up ASAP (Need one by 24th) There was no response.
Messaged a few days later, again asking when he wants it picked up, cash waiting....
Then again.......
Nothing
He is completely non responsive. I haven't paid via PayPal as I could easily give him cash, and since his lack of communication I am worried that he will take money and run!
What do CS advise I do? I have no other information other than eBay to contact him.

Don't pay him but get in contact with eBay saying he isn't responding to anything?

I just give up sometimes, if i haven't sent any money i try to see it as their loss.
Like the guy who was selling the wheels i wanted at £75 each, he had them listed for eternity, no one would ever pay that much.
I rang him up and offered to drive over, take 2 or 4 of them and do a deal, he wouldn't even budge on the £75 each, so i wished him luck and manged to find a complete set of 4 for £50 + £25 delivery

Request user information and get his phone number, give him a call.
I wouldn't go sending money to someone who's ignoring you mind.
All else fail, neg the cunt.
