Just a quick question I was wondering if any off you guys have been in for either key whole on your cartalidge... Or more importantly on your ACL. I ask this because tomorrow I am going back too the doctors for my re evaluation and I'll be Hounest i am shitting it. And watching videos on YouTube doesn't help settle my nervs

I had key hole on my knee when I was younger to try sort out my knee cap that was cracked in half basically. Didn't feal a thing when it was done but was painful after. Really swelled up and bruised around the hole. But tablets and its fine.
Don't watch you tube vids. Simple.

I had key hole surgery for ACL reconstruction and some damaged cartalidge removed.
Tbh its amazing how little scarring or pain i had from such invasive surgery. I literally walked out of hospital on crutches a few hours after the op. Within a few days i was fully mobile and i was fully recovered and had full strength and flexibility within 4 months.
Lots and lots of physio though.

I've had acl pcl and lcl reconstruction all at the same time on my knee they took grafts from my hamstrings. it's not to bad they will have you up and walking within 24hrs same day depending on what time you have your op. Recovery is a bitch as you worry about doing damage or twisting your etc but it soon wears off and you are mobile within days as ianofbhills has said. I've now got to have full ligament transplants on all my ligaments now due to the repairs stretching I'm not looking forward to that one as that's 6 months minimum of crutches

Had almost all my cartalidge removed from my right knee summer just gone and my story is basically as above.

Thanks a lot for the recent messages  I'm exspecting alot off pain afterwords and now it will take a while too get back too full momentum. Just worrying like a bitch about it tbh.

I'm in hospital on Friday for keyhole surgery on my knee, wish I never read this now lol
