Whats the best way to remove bump strips on a corsa B what did you use to actually get the strip off then what did you use to get the sticky stuff off the car

heat gun to remove the bump strips then a toffee wheel to remove the glue thats left

if you still have a faded line in the paintwork after you've got the glue off use boiling water from a kettle and poor it on. works a treat

^^ or you can polish it.


Just used a spare hairdryer (same one used to take of rear badges) and a leverer of some sort (in my case used a plastic ice scraper ) and went along slowly. it worked.

If the forklift doesn't work, fishing line is perfect for cutting through the glue. Use it like dental floss, but wear gloves or you'll cut your fingers off!

I used 12lbs mono for debadging, didn't have it snap on me so should be good with that or higher.

It's freezing lol if it was a major job I would heave the cold but nit for something like this lol
