Its quite cool but a massive rip off. Could go abroad for the money.
I've been twice, first time we got tickets for the theme park for both of the days we were there + a session in the water park. 2nd time we only got tickets for one day and had to buy another set of 4 tickets if we wanted to go in both days
The water park is decent but i couldnt spend a whole day in there!
Getting in the park an hour early is awesome though, zero queues, got on Air, Nemesis x3, Rita & Oblivion with time to spare before it opened. Could just spend the rest of the day going on some of the smaller stuff that you wouldnt usually bother with if you were only there one day.
Oh and the Splash Landings buffet meal thing was awesome, it had every meat in the world on the go

You can get in the park early without booking the hotel. They sell tickets when there for either £5 or £10.

Be nice to stroll out of bed though rather than leave at 7am for the 1.5 hour drive up..

At this time of year it will only be a small wait all day, even for the big rides

Stop in another guest house or hotel nearby; there's hundreds around here even within walking distance that would save you the parking fee!!

At this time of year, you'll have a bloody long wait for any of the rides; probably around 10weeks or so

It's better staying at hotel, 2 hour drive there and back is a ball ache. I went on a date there a while back and stayed over after. Got a few funny looks off family in room next door as we was coming out in morning. Then you can drive home after breakfast . It's a good do .
