Jist wondered as i have bought a bike off of someone local off on ebay. turns out to be someone i know. ic i collect in cash could he get round paying the fees? Ie cancel the auction as its already finished?

I think he can say item was broken or stolen.

He can cancel it, you agree to it. Then collect it with cash and he won't get charged.

If on eBay is it is to pay with cash, he could say you never turned up? Don't know what that will do to your eBay tho

The easites way is for you to submit to eBay that you both have mutually agreed to withdraw the sale, they send him an email and he clicks agree's, fee's not payable.

Makes no odds to me but would rather see a nice local lad have to pay 65 quid in fees to ebay haha

Dont even need to email them, can do it all through ebay itself. Check the help guide as its been a while since ive done it

Yeah mutual withdrawal. I told the lad to do it when i bought my last corsa. Did not affect me at all.

i do it loads, also get a mate to bid up so you have a free reserve, then if they win just cancel the sale.
