Right then, a guy at work has offered me a set of 17x7 OZ Superturismo's pretty cheap, with 4 decent tyres. Only problem is that they're off his Fiesta ST... Which is believe is 4x108 stud pattern!? He said the offset is about ET42. I know I'd need some hub converters to be able to fit these, but are they likely to fit under my arches OK with at least a 30mm drop? Or is it a none starter? My car is an R53 Mini Cooper S. 4x100 pcd, unsure on standard offset.

Any help is appreciated!

Standard offset is around et45 I think. Hubcentric adapters are probably going to be 15 - 20mm so that will drop the offset on the OZ Super T's a lot. I think you'd run into scrubbing issues and by the time you've sourced and paid for adapters it'd be cheaper to buy a set of wheels that will fit without messing about

I thought the offset on newer minis was roughhly the same as a corsa b. I was looking into a set of mini wheels for my corsa but i was gonna have to have the center hole bored out to fit on a corsa hub so didnt bother. I think buy the time you have got the correct adapters which will be a minimum of 15mm you may struggle with some scrubbing. My workings out that will make the wheels et27ish with adapters.

Use wobble bolts and you should be okay I would have thought

Wobble bolts won't fit a 4x108 wheel onto a 4x100 hub

Wobble bolts usually only go 2mm either way IIRC.
