For my mates birthday (today) we all decided this morning to go to Scarbrough, thing is I am supposed to be working tomorrow...........so what do I say to get out of work???

Yeah Family emergency was what I was thi9nking about Adam, coz I dont have to go into detail and I can give them notice today that I wont be around tomorrow meaning I dont put them in the shit really.

Might go for that option.

if you use family emergency what happens if a real family emergency occurs days after?

just call them tommorrow tell thm your armpit is stuck to the bed and you cant get up
