Right I'm coming up 19 and in July my insurance on my b is up I can get a skoda octavia 1.9tdi for £600-£700 on insurance anybody think I should go for that or any other car like this one

All depends on what you can afford to insure really, the problem i have being around the same age as you is that the cars are cheap enough but insurance is a few grand on something decent.

Yeah I know found that the octavia 1.9tdi was I between £600-£700 for the year with I Thaught weren't bad at all

Im insuring the fabia (vrs), 6ncb, 25, that's costing £500 for the year!

if its a 90bhp base model tdi, then no. if its a vrs, maybe

Won't be the VRS as that didn't come in a 1.9tdi.

No not vrs the 1.8t vrs was 1300 lol and will cost me loads on fuel and was going to consider the vrs diesel but couldn't seem to find many for sale :/

£1300 for a 19 year old on a vrs is still really cheap, who was that with?

I've a 1.9tdi 105bhp Leon and its incredibly slow and dull to drive. Then again insurance in only £450 at 23 so isn't so bad.

Elephant and my 18 year old mates got one on those and had a remap and now it's at 149 bhp lol

It will still be poop compared to the proper sports models. I wouldn't dream of remapping mine, i've been told by many people with having the 5 speed gearbox they can't take anywhere near as much torque as the 6 speed boxes.
