Author gsi into a 1.4 16v no fuel??

I have recently swapped a 1.4 16v engine for a 1.6 16v out of a gsi, it has the modified inlet (top box) but I cant get the injectors to fire the do fireoff a power probe but not off a turn of the key any ideas??

Is the fuel pump working? Pump relay? Immobilser?

Did you swap ecu, transponder and key chip?

yea I have power to.the pump chip key transponder has bein swapped no sign of an imobiliser n the injectors do fire when I put power to them through a probe but cant seem to get thwm fire of the key

You didn't mention the ECU, was that changed?

the gsi ecu flashes its lost its code goin recode that on tech 2 but cant get no fuel through of the 1.4 ecu and I have on previous cars

another thing that doesnt make sence I have power to the injector loom even have power to every injector but when plugged in they just dont fire at all but the do work as I put power to them through a live probe and the fire fuel out

If ecu light is flashing then it won't fire, as its been immobilised

iy does fire with flashing ecu but no fuel but im on the 14 ecu I can run on easy start as bypassing the injectors

The fuel has been cut due to Immobiliser kicking in.
You're trying to bodge the system.

im goin recode the gsi ecu in the morning but im just confused as its the first time ive ever had this problem on this conversion hadd all the injector loom out and checkedall seems fine but now im not getting an open circuit on the injectors

Confused what you're asking, try and write clearer.

It won't fire fuel if car is immobilised, get that sorted first

Shut all bonnet and doors,lock the car,then unlock it and try start it. Sounds daft I know but I was doing some wiring on my corsa the battery was off for a week. with me messing around with everything the ECU and immobiliser got confused!

still having no luck the fuel relay clicks when I turn it over checked all plugs are pluged in earths connected (all as I know of cant see any more anywere) but if I bridge the reley the pump kicks in but ive noticed the pumps not kicking in when I turn on the ignition its a c16 xe gsi engine into a x14xe swapped ecu chip and transponder but kept origanal loom

so is the fuel pump working? try wiring it in solid to see if you can here it. as Generation said it won't fire fuel if car is immobilised

I have lads I put it in the last post I can wire the pump to work by bridging the relay so iknow the pump works just doesnt work off the key and if I can run the car one easy start then its clearly got spark but to put yamind at rest I have checked the plugs and the all got spark the problem is off the turn of the key I het no fuel even with the ijector rail out none of them fire, the ecu is the red and white plug and the car is on a w plate
