hi. i have just insured my corsa with elephant and when i phoned to purchase they said i have a claim for an accident .. in my old corsa

the only thing i recall happening in that corsa was getting clipped by a bus, i phoned my insurance to tell them i had been hit then i contacted the bus company insurance they said they would asses my car and never come out .. was working alot then and never got time to chase it so just lived with the dent ..

is that right they can charge me for no fault of mine ?

I guess so if no party has admitted liability yet.

I'd said the bus company has it on record. Give it a chase, althought difficult for them to assess your car now etc.
