I see what he's going for, but its generally boring. If Karl wasn't in it I doubt id watch. Although that other bloke is funny.

I really don't get it. Find it weird. But only seen 5mins here and there. Not a whole episode.

What is annoying is he repeats so many things that he's done in the past. Camera angles, the looks at the camera like in The Office. And last week when the woman and her boyfriend were outside having a chat, it was virtually identical to Lee and Dawn from The Office.

Some of the show is very sweet, though, at it's core, and obviously some is very funny, also. But as I say, he repeats so much of his material it gets a tad irritating. Think the only episode I properly watched was when the young girl came in for some sort of work experience.

That's how I find it. Like the office. But feels like its trying to be the office.

KP is just brilliant Main reason I watch it.

Very well produced. Could of gone horribly wrong going down this route.

Never watched it as, apart from The Office, Gervais is dreadful.

I've been told it's funny though.

RG isn't a genius IMO.

He found a format which sort of worked in 'the office' ...repeating it ad nauseam doesn't make it more funny. Less so to me.

Idiot abroad was amusing....series 2 less so....series three (you can almost hear RG brain cogs whirring) 'how can I refresh this/make it more funny'

Oh yes, add some sort of disablility and take the piss; but not really take the piss out of them. Just twist it around a bit to question how we think about midgets etc

Derek is no better. Same format just a different subject matter.

saw a bit last night. karl pilkington went mad at some woman who's mum had died and accused some girl of stealing a ring from her.

gervais was very boring in it, but pilkington was very funny.

saw the adverts, looked like he was just copying little britain so never watched it, then again I find Ricky Gervais about as funny as being stabbed with a rusty spoon so was never really going to watch it any way.

I hate the stupid expression he has, trying to act like a retard, looks more like he is having an uncomfortable fart.
