Depends on the pad but generally I have found the oem replacements to be pretty good. There performance ones are quite good value for money but the concenus is they are noisey (never used them before)

I have Mintex discs and pads on my 206 GTI. Never ran it on a track or anything but on the road, I wouldn't say they are any better than the standard ones I had before really.

They are only meant to be oem replacements though, unless you buy the specific performance compunds eg 1144's etc

Always ran m1144's on the corsa and they were excellent. Run ds2500 on the Astra now and can't fault them either.

For the money I'd be getting DS2500 Ferrodos. Had them in a few cars and never let me down. I wouldn't touch anything from EBC again, just incase you considered them

I didn't have a single problem with my EBC pads. I ran the green stuff in the 106gti, yellow stuff in the R32 and red stuff in the Evo. The only one I didn't like was the reds as the squeeled a lot. The rest were spot on. I had the ds2500 pads in the LCR as well and they destroyed my discs. I replaced them with the pagid pads and there just as good for my kind of driving.

I run Mintex on my S3, apart from being fairly dusty they've given me no problems and are better than the EBC Greens they replaced.

I run mintex 1144's and brembo max discs on the sport. Can't fault them. A tad dusty but not the worst by far!

Yeah just oem replacement stuff as I've got a deal on them with brembo discs. About a third of the oem stuff. Can't afford a BBK with wedding on horizon so bargain hunting lol.
These wont be being tracked and I'm not too fussed if they are dusty as IMO the oem stuff is bad enough.

Thanks for replies chums

Pagid was an option too, but this deal includes mintex only.

Will order these up I think
