they remind me of wolfrace katana's.

amazing how a wheel can ''look'' so much better just because it's OEM (or replica).

They do look pretty similar though!

Yeah unfortunately they are replicas, couldn't find a decent set of genuine ones for a decent price. Only ones I could find where nearly a grand without tyres and had some kerbing to all the wheels!

For the price I payed for them I cant complain. Near enough new with loads of tread on the tyres for a lot less than new replicas with tyres.

I nearly went for a set, only thing was they was down in Kent and he wasn't willing to send a courier for them!

Thought I'd be a little different for now, only seen them on 1 mk5 golf.

Thay are 18". Been thinking that, Only thing is it was lowered this morning and drove about 5 miles, Will see how it is over the next couple of weeks. Don't want it too low because of a few big humps in the works car park.

Wheels look smart as fuxck but it does need to go lower pal, just so it sits above the tyre IMO

Bumps are no excuse. Mines lower and I have to go over 4 big speedhumps in work and i'm fine. Occasionally.scrape the rear flaps but they're only plastic.

Going to see how it goes, I think when funds allow I may go for a set of H&R Coilovers.

Just been for a ride in a mk6 GTD with them on and the ride was pretty good. Only thing been it made mine feel like a 1.2 corsa in terms of speed and acceleration!

looks much better in the pic you posted in your project thread:

get some more pics from normal height. laying on the floor whilst pointing the camera upwards makes the arch gap look bigger than it really is.

It does. Need to find some time to give it a real good clean and to get some proper pics with a decent camera.
