Probably going to come across as a really stupid question but what's the reason for running low compression.
Are there any benefits to running low compression on a n/a engine or is it just for turbo'd engines.
Would you get a benefit from running higher compression on a n/a engine, if so what.

to a certain extent it'd be much better having a higher compression on a N/A unless your using a turbo or nos... get see more gains from the gas on a lower comp too
what you thinking like?

pretty much as jed said, lower comp ratio on forced induction and raise it for n/a. not to high on n/a with gas though.

depends how much gas your talking about though, lower compression is sometimes better, my mates is a destrocked 3.0l with a huge shot of gas and its doing 10's

if your thinking high comp your V6 let me know though... iv been thinking about it for a while and theres a few ways to do it, just working out which ways least costly... shame its not a 3.0l as we all know what pistons are 86mm
