Don't need to be doing any number of miles to justify a diesel imo. They are better than the petrol equivalent a lot of the time which is justification in itself.

You say this but my girlfriends dad has a 330D. Remapped to around 280 bhp and 500 ft lbs torque, he still gets 42mpg and can get over 50 on a long run.


Christ that's good going, this is why I want a diesel, currently only doing around 12k a year but at any point I could be moved and that would be doubled. Plus for the above example find me a petrol car that gets the same figures... It's near impossible so hopefully ill get the best of both worlds with a diesel, with any luck any way
