It was all soaked in de-greaser first and got scrubbed the worst off!

Done it before with bite like the washer bottle, expansion tank and engine cover.

Dishwasher is still fine

It's a well known fact dishwashers make good parts washers. All good till the Mrs finds out

Indeed! I wouldn't have done it if it was an expensive dishwasher tho, this is a cheap as chips replacement after our Bosch one died!

i have done this before when rebuilding a mate's XE,works really well! We picked up a 2nd dish washer for the job though.
