COD is finally after many years starting to get on my tits. To many BS players these days and i'm just not enjoying it like I used to.
Now here's my dilemma, I have only ever played Halo (great games), COD's (progressively getting worst), Assasins creed II (felt a bit samey when playing it till the end) and the odd racing game which I've never been very good at.
I now want to look into a new game and get some hours into it, Crysis 3 looked good on the adverts recently but I don't actually know what its about. I've also heard Farcry 3 is good but this was recommended by a non-gamer
so what would you recommend? I like shooters, with lots of content but do still like the fast pace of the way COD plays just to pick up every now and again and spend an hour of madness.

Fallout 3 and then after youve completed all the extra packs Fallout New Vegas. I say do the older Fallout first because New Vegas isnt as good as 3. Quite alot of people on here will vouch for Fallout.

I have played Fallout 3 3-4 times and I started playing it again recently. It really is an amazing game. You can play half a dozen times and discover new things, do things differently and your actions will produce different in game outcomes and endings. If you haven't played before, don't give up before you leave the vault - The game doesn't start until you get out...
Fallout NV is a bit frustrating after playing F3. Everything looks too new, isn't Washington and although the controls and menus etc are the same it just doesn't compare.

Dishonored is a great game.

Ended up with far cry 3 as fallout wasn't on the shelves. £25 but technically free as I got £40 on a scratch card! Winner!

skyrim, cannot recommend it enough.
Wasnt in to the whole dragons and magic thing till i won this off ebay game is so big its unreal.
