I have just started a new job on a building site as a labourer. After two days my seats are already getting a bit dusty. I just wondered if anyone is using or have used any decent seat covers. I know knowing my luck i will order some off ebay and they wont fit my sport seats properly because of the bolsters.lol Any suggestions of anyone on here???

You can probably get some made to fit your seats from Ebay

Snap-on ones are expensive: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SNAP-ON-LIMITED-EDITION-SEAT-COVER-BRAND-NEW-SAS-TECH-GENUINE-ORIGINAL-BOXED-/300881057738?pt=UK_Car_Interior_Accessories&hash=item460de897ca

Got a snap on one in my Ford Puma. Had it 4 years, in my Corsa C SRi, Clio 182, 2 106 GTi's and the Puma. Still fine.

I bought a snap on ten years ago

Still use it when I have been out on my bike and full of mud.

Only cost about £12 back then

I bought a Tamp-on one, off of the Tamp-on man.

Used it for a bit. Wasn't too chuffed with the fit as it came up a bit on the short side behind where your knees go. On both my RS and my Merc.

Washed it after a short while on a cool/gentle wash and all the Tamp-on bullshit came off and I then had to clear it all out of our brand new and very expensive Miele top loader.

Needless to say, I complained to the Tamp-on man.

Needless to say, he did nothing about it.

Needless to say I didn't buy another thing from him after that. FUCK, him.

In fact, I didn't buy anything Tamp-on from anyone at all after that. I have had a couple of sockets and a pick replaced under warranty though.

Ahhh, ha ha, the satisfaction.

Bought a couple of dear, heavy duty ones from Argos and they've been brilliant. They fit almost anything.

Also bought some dirt cheap ones from tesco. They're a bloody tight fit on a lot of seats but fine on others. They were a fiver each iirc, or it might even have been for the pair.

I've had a pair of these cheapies in my Laguna for over three years now and they're still fine.

You could also get a roll of disposable polythene ones. They usually come on a roll of a hundred and the last roll I bought was sixteen quid from my local motor factors.

I bought ridiculously expensive but perfectly fitting covers for my mint condition Ford Racing Puma seats from here:

Not a very good photo - this was before I did up the velcro straps and stuff:

I had fitted ones for my Recaros in my EK9. Were a surprisingly good fit and did the job.
