Right ive had the head Pressure tested and heat pressure tested with a light skim.

All the above checked out fine not Porius.

i was loosing oil into the coolant, Is there anything else that is common for going on these engines to cause this fault????

Thanks

Coscast Heads dont go porus. GM heads do thats why its best to get the porus mod done on old heads.
Are you losing oil into the coolant after pressure tested and heat pressure tested with a light skim? Or before you got this done?
If before then you may of had a nic in the head gasket.
If after then the head may be slightly porus and thats been missed.
Thats all it can be on a C20XE. LET's can fail this way at the turbo.

Hope that helps.

Your the only one I know of then. Very strange. Not you, The head I mean

The head you've seen must of been fooked as in stood for along time to corrode. They dont fail under everyday use like GM heads did.

I've seen a couple of pourus cocast heads,

Just not any where near as common as the gm heads apparently,
But then again between me and my mates we've had quite a few an I've never had one go pourus. Cocast or gm.

Yep the coscast heads can and do go porous like the GM heads but not as common. Certainly not uncommon though either.

Any signs of headgasket wear between oil/waterway on the block? Seen a few blocks cracked in past. Need to clean block to have a very good look.
