I ran it on mine for a while, ended up selling up as you can't fully throw it into corners like you would with coilovers.
As for ride comfort it was alright as your basically riding on air unless the bags were completely empty obviously (bit of a back breaker)..
But kits have come a long way so who am I to judge!

Yep. Some kits now are just the same as coilovers. Voodoo are good but don't know how local you are

Plenty of VW boys are, general consensus is you get what you pay for, and the two way manual kits are awful.

Depends what you go for. If you've got a welder and a bit of talent its pretty easy to do.

Over standard coilovers on the front. And these on the rear with custom brackets.
THats the cheapest possible way imo.

Pipe and connectors came from a Pneumatics supplier (Cages for me)
Compressor came from Universal Air Suspension, infact it all came from there apart from the brackets, hose etc
Set aside a grand if you want a decent setup imo. Unless you want something really basic

Depends how 'slammed' you want it, Paul knows his stuff when it comes to air. He's built up a full FBSS set-up at home on his corsa. Universal items tend not to go 'that' low to be honest and usually ride similar heights achievable with a cheap set of coilovers or springs (which will be a lot cheaper)
Pauls will 'lay frame' so to speak the sump/downpipe sit on the ground when fully dropped but has required a lot of custom parts including struts and brackets to fit the set-up.
Bear in mind you do get what you pay for, and if for example you bought a second hand kit from a corsa the struts are usually fabricated to suit that car and may differ slightly when putting on yours, could also effect what size wheels your able to fit

Yup exactly, just by bolting on a kit it won't necessarily mean it's going to be as low or the exact set up you want.
Chances are you are going to need to modify it in some way or just get struts made to your requirements in the first place!
Totally depends on how much your willing to spend and how low you want the car to sit, what functionality you want.
My opinion is read into it as much as you can and work out exactly what you need for the set up that suits you
