Tesla battery packs use lots of standard 18650's like my torch.

Its also, all well and good saving a bit of money have this electric engine, but you still have all the rest of the components that make a car that will also need maintaining.

Speaking to some people, they seem to think an electric car is some piece of magic that requires nothing, just because they heard this one moving part quote.

Tesla has an office near us. Seen the new salloon car on the road recently. Very nice peice of kit.
