Are these any good?

Need to save for management at moment, but engine is nearly done; and these claim 350hp?

Anybody on here use them? Don't want to potentially damage engine

There are copies on ebay and they are crap.. If you cant get the genuine eds ones then I personally wouldn't bother mate.
Genuine are good for the C20LET. I've got PH4 waiting to go on mine.

Some people may have had better results with the copies but thats IMHO. If you are buying then find genuine ones mate. Otherwise.. Go after market like you say.

Not wanting to cause an argument here but how are the copies crap? It's an EEPROM chip loaded with a file. If you can copy the file from EDS ones, it's the same?

Mine runs (in the loosest sense of the word) eds phase 3. Worked fine last time I used it.

yup.

I ran p3 and p4. Compared to aftermarket mapped for the mods its a waste of time IMHO.

No arguments here mate.. Some are probably good. Some are just bad copies/cheap chip hardware. Hense why I said IMHO.

I've had PH2 copies in the past and the car ran shite, it wouldn't boost. Put a genuine set in and set the fuel and actuator and it was superb.
I personnaly woundn't chance it again regardless of someone saying they have good copies.

Aftermarket is fantastic and by far the bast way to get everything dialed in. But a correctly setup ph chipset is fine and more than good enough for fast road use.
All depends what you want from the car and what features you require if using aftermarket.

Well the engine is good for higher amounts.

Seen some for sale on eBay,
No idea if engine, I'd rather genuine ones tbh.

Where did you guys buy from, have you had any issues or been rolling roaded?

I wouldn't trust counterfeit engine management on an expensive engine.

bought mine off a mate who broke a calibra. phase 3, rolling roaded @ 274ish I think, long time ago. Exhaust apparently restricted it a lot.

Well, the chips are cheap.

So don't mind buying twice, do any of you have experience with using them? Or is it all hear/say

I've ran Phase 2 before and my good mate of mine ran phase 4 for the best part of 5 years in his MK3 astra and it ran spot on with no issue at all running a T3. It drove really well. Everytime he got out in it he killed it so reliability was great. It never missed a beat although the Turbo was maxed out.

The price of genuine EDS chips isn't that far off an ECU like omex or dta
