I don't see many other websites having them, you have quoted two mobile sites as your argument. Incase you haven't noticed this isn't a mobile site, nor does it have a mobile version.

Whilst on site improvements, why when browsing on my mobile are font sizes in each posts in a thread different sizes? Little annoying

That's probably to do with threads having photos in them. This exact issue would be solved by Ed's initial suggestion.

Also make the page numbers bigger on the main thread list pages, having to zoom in on mobile to click them gets annoying when everything else can be done without zooming.
