do you want a fight mate?

we pay for the focus monthly, nothing wrong with it at all.

as colin said, you get to change every year/2 years/whatever which means no fucking around with private buyers trying to buy cars for 10 pence.

also not worried about scuffs/scratches as much as i would be if it were my own car, hence the focus gets left on the kerb and my z4 gets put on the drive.

Would never buy a car over 10k outright even if I had the cash to. PCP for that and have to put up with jealous people thinking that you cant afford it even though you can afford the monthly payments so clearly can afford it

The whole "can't afford to buy the car" associated with PCP is imo to do with not owning the car etc. My point being, could these people who do the PCP "afford" to buy the car at the end of it?? Probably not.

what about if they got a loan out to pay off the balloon payment?

i just trade the car back in and get another one and if worst comes to worst, i'd sell the car privately.

That's fine in the life of still lodging at mam & dads with no bills or responsibilities young pow, unfortunately in my world I've got a large mortgage, many bills and 2 mouths to feed so a low apr pcp White BMW is a bit of a no brainer in my camp if I want to enjoy hassle free motoring. Even if I was cash rich, I'd still find somewhere better to put it down than a car showroom, one day you'll understand.
