Looking for recommendations on a game speeder.

Started playing Champ Manager 03-04 again after becoming bored after 10 seasons in 01-02.

The 03-04 runs terribly slow on my machine.

I think it's more to do with the old CM games running dog slow on fast PC's, for whatever reason. I revisted an old version once and it was unusually slow compared to the newer FM games.

Have you got a 486 or something? You shouldn't be struggling to run a 10 year old game, surely?

Edited after seeing Naths comment...

Try running it through dosbox? Although saying that its not THAT old so probably wouldn't work anyway. I played USM2 the other month through dosbox and it ran fine, now that was a game!

CM 01-02 runs faultlessly and fastly on my laptop.

CM 03-04 takes forever to load and process.

I'd be more concerned about why you got bored so quickly with 01-02, its easily the best one I played up until 2008 when I stopped playing the series due to having no life
