Right looking at this as mate wants a bigger engine but not a red top or ecotec 2l

First Can't find a inlet manifold for throttle bodies any were, does anyone know where I can get one or if another engines manifold will fit?

Second now I've seen warrens thread and read a few other that have done it but fitting x16xe rods and sump so you can fit a x16xe exhaust manifold. Now is this just a case of fitting rods, attaching sump and oil pickup then bolting on manifold or is there modifications required?

And finally for the fuel rail I have a adjustable fuel thingy to fit already is it just a case of fitting the fuel line to the regulator, then on to fuel rail and original return to return on regulator then tune till fueling correct?

Cheers Nath

martin bowyer does the inlet manifolds for them. but is a nightmare to get hold of. do a search for 'boywe power' and should find a contact number. you will have to try a few times until martin or his mum answers.

I did Chris's ^

Don't fit 1.6 sump etc. 1.8 stuff is fine.

Fueling just needs to be set at 3.5bar IIRC (been a while)

If you need help with it, I'm not far from you, Wiring is a bit gay, but easily sorted.

Its really not worth the hassle, for whatever manifold he already has.

Hmm theres a black (normally ign live on vauxhalls) that needs to be perm live for it to start, I think the rest is normal, but its been a while, I made Chris's so it would just plug into the corsa dash loom.

As Chris said, X18xe1 manifold and downpipe, cut the flange off a corsa downpipe and weld to the xe1 item in the right place.

Piece of pish

I'm running a toyosport 4-1 manifold from z18xe with astra bertone downpipe which matches my 2.5" exhaust without cutting or welding.

Tbf it had 114k when I put it in my crosa, didn't do anything to it apart from exhaust Mani, done around 6k miles since and its not caused me 1 problem at all! I've abused it every chance I'm in the car, its a great engine.

Currently trying to find a 50k engine to match mileage on the crosa.

I'd easily do another conversion in a few hours now I know what I'm doing.
