Got my Bmw up forsale see here
Had a few people ask for swaps and refused them as they were manky golfs or moon mile fords.

But somones just asked if I wanted to Part ex with a 2003 Mini Cooper S 66k miles in Light blue with white roof.

What are peoples opinions on the cooper S? Is that the one to get or is there a better model?

In 2 minds as the girl car stigma is still kinda attached!
But I wouldn't mind something smaller and less juicy on the fuel!

Thanks

Boss cars. Drive well. Good on the juice. Nice tuning capabilities. Loads of part and aftermarket upgrades and stuff available. I'd own one if I could afford to buy one and insure one. Haha.

Most people calling a Mini a girls car probably drive something really mundane and really worry about what people think.

If you like it, do it. They are meant to be cracking little cars although I've no personal experience myself. I'd happily own one though

I've got an 05 plate Cooper S, and as said already, great cars, really fun to drive, they aren't amazing on fuel, but I'd say it's worth the money!

I've had the 'girls car' comments off my mates, but it still wipes the floor with most of their cars and they actually do like it

I say good on the juice. For a car that nippy and that drives that well there good on the juice. There never going to be a 80mpg blue motion golf or something but its not like you will be running 20mpg

They've gotta be better than my 330ci which I average 21mpg in!
Went to have a quick look at it and it was abit rough round the edges and been tracked. Didn't bother with a test drive!

I'm averaging anywhere between 26-29mpg in mine, that's alot of country roads, and maybe only 40 miles of motorway each week. So they aren't that bad until you floor it everywhere

My Clubsport managed 25mpg mostly motorway driving, swapped for a Clio 182 and it does 40+ mpg on the motorway and low 30's on country lanes... Plus the Clio is 100x better to drive than the BMW! Don't think you can get more fun per pound than a cliosport to be honest (except an undeclared Xe corsa but then you get raped by the police if caught!)

They are nice enough cars, but I do believe they're better suited to females.
