Maybe wrong here but wouldn't it need to run the 1.6 clocks as they are coded to the ecu?? Complete waste of a vxr though, could of at least fitted a z20let if he couldn't find another leh

Good idea. No one wants the poverty spec models looks, but they want the engine as it's more economical.

The saving made on fuel will be lost by the increase in insurance. A modified vxr will be mental compared to a boggo 1.6
