They are in a field so he cant actually see them from any window in the house nor coming up the driveway.
He dug it all out to make it a cheaper install so its not level
Has a little box in the house that tells you how much money you are making when its sunny and its odd to see how much electricity you make on a cloudy day!

My Uncle and Aunty have had them for about 18 months now. Got them in time to get locked in on the higher tariff, 43p per kilowatt I think. Earning quite a bit each quarter and they get free electric in the day off them.

he spent 20k on that but wouldnt spend £500 on getting a level base to sit them on , doesnt matter if its in a field its still rough

Its not visible to anyone the only thing that looks at them are the 2 horse's in that paddock. i wouldn't care if they weren't level. It don't make a difference to the power they produce nor have an effect on anything else. So if it saves £500 in the short term i dont see why not.

Its only going to drop the generation on the panels that have the shadow

cant actually see the point in the fence, not sure what its supposed to achieve.
Thin mesh would have been better.

Not sure if I should chip in and say that the shed casts quite a shadow on the panel next to it too

Might have animals in the field so needs a fence.
Looks like a decent setup but i wouldnt fork out for all that for the return you get

If it is to stop animals touching the panels there are far less retarded solutions.

Maybe so, but if the rest of their fencing is that style then why would you deviate for the sake of a few pence a year extra

A few stallions live in the field and all the field fences are like that.
