My gearbox is dead sooo ..... What gearbox would someone run on a c20let i have a f20 i can take off my old xe but will i have to change my cv's ? Any suggestions get at me

What box is on it and what caused it to die??
If its an F28 and you have managed to kill it, then an F20 won't last long.

When input it on it wernt a very good box to begin with didnt expect it to last a week but lasted a month yes its an f28 ... Why wont an f20 last long ?

i ran f20 on mine for quite a long time.....
what broke on the f28? I have a spare half a box which might have the bits you need......

I run a f20 on my let at 270bhp+ on my 3rd one in 2 years 1st box killed 5th gear and second box killed 5th again but managed get stuck in 5th gear killing my clutch in the process. 3rd box is sweet never crunched yet, F18 long ratio for top end are stick the F20 but you will have to change your clutch set up

Not sure it always whines and 2nd and 4th pops out all the time it has not 1st or 2nd now pretty sure its the selectirs but wanna change it anyway ...does the f28 have sam number of splines as f20 ???

Shafts are the same, clutch plates are different,

Input shaft on the gearbox is a different size and number of splines,f28 has 14 splines and f20 has 24 splines.
You can fit the f20 on there by using a c20xe(f20)centre plate but don`t expect to last with hard driving or high boost as it`s not designed to handle lots of torque.c20xe(f20)c20let(f28).

Clutch plates are the same bar the splines,
I once had two next to each other they where identical.
So it'd last just as long, but your box won't lol!

i never had that many problems with f20 box i did break one but being careful with the second and having 315 bhp it seemed ok
