Who was the guy on here that did that?

I have a new bit for my corrado and fancy wrapping it instead of painting it.

Just looking for tips and the best film to get etc.

Carbon wrapping is easy. Depends on the shape but if its an awkward shape then a heatgun is needed.

What are you doing it on? I wrapped interior parts and the heat caused it to come away from the plastic.

Some people have said the 3m di noc stuff won't do this, so maybe try that?

Its the windscreen scuttle panel, i painted it but the paint has flaked off for some reason, bought a spare one, quite fancy some carbon wrap or some plain black wrap. Its an awkward shape.

Oh you're on about wrapping with film, not water dipping.. Doh

3M Di-Noc, a hair dryer and a sharp blade are all that's required. What ever you wrap make sure you leave enough to tuck around the back and you won't experience any problems with peeling away.

Very easy to do. I tried wrapping a full car for the first time and was easy enough. Just buy a ten quid heat gun and a squeegee and that's all you need.
