selling my car at the moment but not having any luck, i thought it was a reasonable price but have'nt had one person make me a cash offer in 2 weeks of it being for sale( been offered swaps)

car in question is a golf gti 1.8 20v turbo. its done 160k miles which is obviously what is putting people off, but its got full service history most of which is main dealer. its got stacks of volkswagen reciepts from over the year, new gearbox, clutch, flywheel etc etc. no rust or major scrathces.

just an all round good car, drives great.

i am asking £1400 which i thought was fair.

opinions??

No , I mean without wheels and lights its a standard golf gti on 160,000.. theres no appeal for that kind of motor tbh. You can get a hell of a car for £1400 these days

i did think thats what you meant, yeah i understand your point completely. its a shame the mileage is such an off put because it drives and looks better than cars i have driven half its age and mileage.

really wouldnt want to go any lower than £1000 and ideally hope to get £1200 but will just see how it goes.
