Started buying my first home about 8 weeks ago And finally get the keys tomorrow. Im real nervous but excited as well. Had a scare today the carpet we ordered hasnt turned up so they have gave us a more expensive carpet but this has to be delivered tomorrow so lets hope it still goes down. The house is a new build 3 storey 3 bedroom with a master en suite. Cant really give project pics because its new build so not much to do.

Yep will do. Been shopping today for blinds etc so hopefully can get it so we can move in proper on saturday

Well we r sleeping on the floor on our mattress carpet wasnt finished till almost 6 so been mental getting everything in but weather held out most of the day. Loving the feeling tho of been in our own home.

It's such a weird mix of emotions moving into your first home.
Our's wasn't a new build and the previous owners obviously hadn't cleaned anything since accepting our offer 2 months previous. Scummy cunts.
Cue a whole week of cleaning/painting etc etc.

Thats good in a way tho so can make your mark on it. Ours is just magnolia but everything is clean and tidy so no need to paint or anything yet. Planed all the doors today so dont catch the carpet anymore and build some new furniture also wired the tv aerial in dam fools who built the house hadnt a clue what they were doing. Got finish clearing old place tomorrow and clean it up for the inspection.
