Why deano? Thats such a bandwagon comment.
If I can handle driving my car in 3-4 inches of snow on summer tyres with 3mm tread on, then i'm sure the qashqai will manage fine with all that extra weight over the wheels.

Dunno, would just rather a similar sized hatchback. Same practicality, probably better fuel economy, works the same in the snow.
I know it snows about twice a year for 3 days, but would just hate to think I have one of them and it can handle it, when it just can't.

Why? Hatchbacks are great, but most older people I know like the higher driving position a crossover gives.
What you've said is so narrow minded and 1 dimensional.

Not really...if I am driving something that looks like it should be able to handle snow....and doesn't....I would feel like a right idiot spinning my front wheels and going nowhere.
Not narrow minded, much like if I am driving a sports car I don't expect to be out gunned by a fiesta 1.2.

You care far too much about what other people think of you.

Mobility cars up here, all the schemes are full of them.
Wouldn't buy one in case I was mistaken for being work shy / on disability.

You would need to be mentally disabled to think like that, so who knows, maybe you're entitled to disability benefits after all.

I actually agree with him, the common thought of them is that if you've got one its on mobility, same when the C max came out
