Usually, I'll only ever watch Gillette Soccer Saturday / Special and occasionally see the hourly headlines for a few minutes,
But having this week off and not being away on holiday, means I've had a bit more time doing things around the house with the TV on in the background, leaving Sky Sports News on mainly.
And, fucking hell has I realised they spout some shit and make stories out of nothing.
Firstly:
They interviewed McLaren's Martin Whitmarsh this morning ahead of the Grand Prix and they asked about McLaren wanting to sign Fernando Alonso. Whitmarsh clearly said he's an amazing driver and any team would like to sign him. Within seconds, there's a breaking news bar stating: McLaren are trying to sign Fernando Alonso for 2014. The question proposed initially was like asking any football manager if they'd sign Messi, of course they'd say YES!
Secondly:
They were showing highlights of Huddersfield v Hull in the Super League. And because Huddersfield scored a load of points in the first few minutes, the camera panned to the Hull fans and showed a bloke leaving, and they declared he was going home after 15 minutes because of the score. He was probably going for a piss or something to eat.
Absolute fucktards, making stories, not breaking them.

To be fair, Hull FC did play a shocker, so much so that i'd turned it off and got out of my arm chair after 15 minutes 
Watching SSN during the day makes me realise how much they repeat information though. It's the same story over and over and over again. After the advertisment break, the presenters just repeat the same shit which they had to say in the segment before. It must be such a boring job for the female presenters. The only perk for the guys presenting the show is that they can look at the fitties. I miss Georgie Thompson though.
