I've got through almost all the staged and im off to the training center at the weekend for fitness tests and briefing and was wondering if you can give me any ideas/tips on the interview/tests ETC?

The assessment interview will be looking for key points - diversity, discrimination, teamwork etc etc. Have a think about examples from your past and how you can use them. remember not to waffle, as time is short.

The scenarios are looking for people who can listen, empathise, take control and remain calm - they are looking for reasoned responses and rational patterns of thought - remaining calm under pressure

The English and Maths are not too difficult.

Remember that everyone else there is in the same boat as you are, and don't panic. Far better to stop and start again than to try and blag something when you are on the wrong path.

Got through to the assessment center!

Beep test was easy and pushed 59kgs and pulled 61kg. Loads of young women there failed the beep test/push/pull test.

Just got to practice now for the interview and tests

surely they wouldn't expect the women to do that kind of weight? what was there sort of targets?

OK I was being sarcastic, being serious I can pull 100KG and push 80KG but that's on machines in the gym, no idea how kippers did it.

Same targets as the men Steve. Pull 34kg and push 35kg.
