Looking for some better tyres for the pug. Being a bit of a tight arse and don't really want to pay £150.

Do these look ok or are the edges too far gone?

Define better.

Why would you even consider tyres from a car that's clearly had some setup problem, it doesn't even look like they've been under inflated because it's not uniform on both sides. Bad tracking/rubbing, which is why they'll be getting rid.

Looks like a tracking issue on those. I'm after a bit more grip on the back as the winter is getting closer.

Will a worn edge cause any issues as these would be going on the back. I have the same tyre up front.

Back currently has budgets on. Perfectly good tyres but have very little grip in the wet.

There is no way you should know they have very little grip in the wet unless you are driving far too fast.

As a serious reply, if you don't want to spend much money, slow down.

I have not stated if this car is a road or track car which may also explain not wanting to spend a small fortune.

personally i wouldnt bother. By the time you have got them and found and payed someone to fit them, then after a shorter period of time having to get some more, it would be cheaper just to buy a new pair.

Vauxhall and Peugeot are a completely different make of car. Not quite sure how you got them mixed up to be honest. Just thought i'd clear up any confusion here.

They'll be absolutely fine. Rears on my car were the same before I changed them. Usual issue is due to low cars and camber. All lowered z4's do the same to their rear tyres. Inside edge wears quicker than the rest.

Worn premiums are better than new budgets... broad statement I know but it's a pretty accurate one.

Get to top gear tyres on the Wirral lad. Or I may have them tyres in my garden. I'll check tomorrow. They ain't matching but some have a lot of tread

They'll be fine, that wear isn't bad at all and will be much better than budget tyres

Pretty much spot on what some of the lads have said, by the time you have had those fitted it wont be long until the cords will be exposed on the one edge.
