Right, it's been a while, for which I apologise, but it's time to get back on track and what better way to start than with our world famous (possibly) Blackpool Illuminations meet

For this meet we are joining up with a club that my brother's been involved with for a while, the North West Owners Collective or NWOC for short. Ian and I joined them for their Illuminations meet last year and liked the format so we thought we'd give it a go as our meet too. Anyway, that's enough babbling, the details;

Date

14th October

Meeting point

Blackpool Morrisons Car Park in the corner next to Macdonalds car park, the postcode is FY4 2RP. We are meeting here from 19.30 to set off at 20.00 for a leisurely drive through the Illuminations.

The destination

Bispham Kitchen, postcode FY2 9HW. Great fish and chips, not to mention their rather lovely cakes Parking outside is somewhere between little and nothing but you can usually find space just up the road or as a worst case scenario, there's a Sainsburys just a couple of hundred yards up the road which has plenty of parking available.

So, in short, what better way to spend your Monday evening than a drive through the Illuminations followed by a chippy tea with a load of like-minded people
