Picked up my new car last week so thought I'd put a few pics up of it.(Not the best of pics)

It's an X6 30d in Monaco Blue, lots of optional extras too. Bit of a marmite car but I love it! Not looking forward to replacing the tyres, they're rather large!

Not a fan. But not as ugly as a 5 series GT though!

They're supposedly excellent to drive but I've always thought they were fugly, then learned they don't even have 5 seats.

The photos aren't the greatest which probably doesn't help, but as i said, it is a marmite car! Looks better in the flesh.

Hammer, they can be spec'd with 5 seats. Although this one is only 4.

It drives really well for such a big car, much better than the X3 I traded in for this. The 8 speed sports auto transmission is lovely too.

Ben, it's an X1 next to it.

As Clarkson put it. A car for when we thought the banks knew what they were doing.

But they're "cheap" on the used market now though!

I wouldn't say they're any "cheaper" most other 4x4's. They seem to have depreciated in line with X5's of the same age and price when new.

Yeah that won't make it look shit at all. Or 'even more shit' depending on your view of this car.

I hate the look of these things.

I'm sure it's a nice motor, but they just look fucking horrid.

I had an X5 40d MSport for a few weeks back in March and it was a lovely car, but I just prefer the coupe looks of the X6 and this particular one had every option that I wanted too. I didn't need the extra rear seat either so that was never an issue.

Definately an aquired taste, I was very close to buying a 5 series GT before I bought this which is also a very marmite car too!

No it's not a company car, we just wanted a big comfy car and like a high up driving position.

It's nice but personally I'd have the X5. And only 4 seats? WTF? Bet they make you pay for the 5th

Thanks. Yes they're big, a lot bigger than our X3 was as my wife found out after grazing one of the wheels on a curb the other day!

Pow- yeah it's an optional extra so you pay more for it!

Cheers MatthewR.
