Anyone done this with a pole/bat before? Going attempt to do mine at the weekend so I can space wheels as much as possible. Any tips?
Don't mind if paint cracks as I'll probably blow the rear quarters in at some point anyway, don't want to go making a hash of the panels though

I have done it many times. Can do it with the car stationary and you roll the bar.

Or just hammer them.

A hammer would kind of defeat the purpose, the whole point is that a pole or a baseball bat keeps the smooth lines. Wouldn't be a problem for overfenders but to roll arches it'd kind of be like using a water gun to touch up paintwork, a bit untidy looking

A friend and I rolled my girlfriends ones on her golf with a lump hammer . Arches were ruined and it flaked all the paint off so just for a reference, don't do it that way .
