Litchfield (popular GTR importer/tuner and they do the "Litchfield" series' of Imprezas amongst other things) are doing a supercharged BRZ/GT86 option for just under £30k.

Depends on what you like I guess.
Some people might like the coupe shape, where others would like the practicality of the hatch.
Pretty sure i'd choose the m135i, even if I do think it's ugly. It just makes sense.

Oh not sure about the DIY Joe Bloggs thing, but there are a few 400bhp+ ones I've seen/read.

Even though the M135i is pretty ugly it's still better looking then the GT86, GT86 looks cheap and tacky with halfords wheels and some Lexus lights.
