Ive acquired some DIY shafts for my C20LET Barina, but theyre Cav inners on Corsa shafts and outers so i expect them not to last long.
Wher exactly do they usually let go? The shafts itself or where the splines meet the main body of the outer CV?
Cheers!

I thought Dale still ran his like this? I think they last longer than you'd expect but I was always under the impression the cvs shit themselves rather than snapping shafts? I might be wrong though!

Dale has equal length shafts on Monty, and he had motorsport shaft before that which twisted on the splines.

I have also twisted the Motorsport ones, never had a problem with using 2 standard calibra shafts yet however.

I think Dale killed a CV at Combe last month, but they have been fine.

I've never ran anything other than cavalier shafts and never had a problem

Shafts get a hell of an easier time here too. No rust anywhere to weaken them and they still have the factory paint/coating on them.
