What's the best way to accurately measure a wheels PCD??

If 4 stud, use a vernier to distance between the outermost face of one hole and the innermost face of the opposite hole-that'll give you the centre to centre measurement. Take the measurement off the back face of the wheel as the holes there are true circles whereas on the front face the holes might be skewed by the spoke design,

They are 5 stud. Either 5x112 or 5x108.

5 is more difficult as the diameter goes from one hole to the theoretical circle on the other side.

Might be a way to measure the hole distances as per the 4 stud method and then use some calculus, probably easier to mount and see if it fits if you have a suitable car.

Measure the centre bore, measure the diameter of one of the bolt holes. Add them together.

Now measure the distance from the inner edge of one of the bolt holes to the inner edge of the centre bore hole. Double that value and add it to the previous value and there's your answer.

Sounds long winded but it will give you the right answer.

Thanks, will give those a try.

Had an idea of using 1 of those things that draw a perfect circle. Do 2 of them with a PCD of 108mm and 112mm and see which 1 matches up when placed on the back of the wheel.
