Smooth the inserts, leave plate recess. Have nowhere to put plate other wise apart from a stick on one, in window or cable tied in grille and they all look shit.

Who cares if it looks good at shows, your out on the road more than your at shows, my number plate fell off and had it in window, got stopped twice by police within a week. I'd keep recess and smooth inserts. Could always get a 'show' bumper made up

Fully smooth but leave the toe eye.

Then attach a plate to some threaded bar and put it in the tow eye bit. Then come shows can take it off again.

That's what I did.

Simple.

Smooth recess and bumpstrips with an Irmscher splitter un-smoothed and a plain irmscher grille. And run the plate how Graeme suggested. Either that or airdam.

Is it legal to have the number plate in the window? In a place where it can be clearly seen. If not leave the number plate recess! Unless the 5 0 are lenient around area. I do prefer fully smoothed, but what's the point if your gonna get constantly hassled about it! Remember the pictures of the fully smoothed cars don't show what it would look like with the number plate some where else on the bumper.

I do really like that but i cant tell what it looks like on the car and might make my front look too heavy if you know what i mean....lower on the front than the rest and might look odd

Its not legal as cameras cant pick it up and i will most likely get pulled straight away however i could do as grahem suggested or stick it on for daily driving

No afraid not. I used threaded bar that went onto a plate holder. Was only a small plate as have a 5 digit plate.
