Has anyone experienced problems with new vauxhalls remote locking?
My dad has an Insignia and the remote doesn't work by our house, neighbours have similar issues (on a 13 plate Astra, 58 plate Vectra and a 63 Adam). They all seem to work fine elsewhere though.
Is this common?

Interference i'm guessing from something in your street.

Like Ben said its more than likely interference, there's a street in Watford where my remote on the van doesn't work unless I hold it on the bloody window !

If it's happening on a 5 year old Vectra (as well as on 3 completely different cars) then I doubt it's a Vauxhall fault.

No because its not my van and only ever happens on one road and fob usually works from pretty much any distance normally.

Dad can't lock his Prius at work, it's rf interference on that exact frequency that his fob works on. Same will be happening on your street, you've got to find out what is causing it. Common ones are garage door openers
