Having drilled the air box and resetting the ECU, a week later the exhaust emissions light on the dash has come on. Has anybody come across this before or do you think it's just Coincidence?

nope, havent had this prob.
does it light up for a few seconds when u start? or does it stay lit while the engine is running?

it happened last night while iwas driving. i tried resetting the ecu then the light disappears but the engine still isn't running right. the light is now back on again.

How and why do you reset your ECU.

does it flash at all? sounds like a fault in the emission control system. best taking it to vaux if its still lit.

got it fixed on mine last week, a bit of dirt got into the pipe (one with wires comin out) that joins onto my induction kit, just put standard airbox on and take it back to vaux.

I've taken my car into vauxhall today so hopefully they can tell me what's wrong.
