without spending a fortune I want to play my phone music via Bluetooth in my car whats the simplest set up ?

Depends, do you have a standard Vauxhall stereo at the moment or an aftermarket one?
If it's a standard one, can look down the lines of a parrot kit, although iO plays are quite good too, or if you have an aftermarket stereo - see if you can buy a bluetooth upgrade kit for it

I have a standard ford stereo at the minute want something that simply sits in your car and plays through your car speakers as cheap as possible

Sadly not, that's only a visor unit which links your calls.
If you want music streaming, you need something like a Parrot or iO Play kit which are more expensive as they actually link into your stereo
