As above, does anyone know about the workings of Tech2 and know exactly what it can do??
I need my Xenon adjusters re-calibrated, and apparently it can be done by Tech2, but not Opcom etc.

I know with tech2 there is a option for xenon calibration.
However I'm sure there's a extra piece of hardware to go with the different cars...
I've done it with a snap on solus machine and that didn't need anything extra

Its a Vectra B.
It has factory Xenon's so not a calibration to get them working if that's what you were thinking.
The car is lowered and the sensors on the front and rear arms are probably at there maximum adjustment/out of range for the factory settings. Apparently it needs re-calibrated via Tech2.

I've had a play with it a couple of times but by no means an expert. If that option is definitely available, you'll just find it in the menu system and press start basically.

Well calibrating the sensors now will make them think it's factory height so it will need doing
As john said. I've had a play with it. But I'm not a expert. But know for sure there's a xenon calibration option.
The snap on solus machines have it and it's a piece o cake to use

Used to use it every day on Saabs and it could do all manner of clever things, such as calibrating/setting the limit switches etc on convertibles. I never had to use it for headlight calibration as all the cars we got in were at factory ride height, plus surprisingly, I never encountered any headlight based faults.
In light of the flexibility of the older system I used, I should imagine it was probably capable of doing so. I was always finding interesting little functions by accident. I'd have thought a newer version would be more advanced and more capable.
Probably worth giving a Saab or Vauxhall specialist a tinkle and asking them if they've been able to do it.

Thanks guys, will go on the hunt for someone with Tech2.
The Xenon's work, and when i jack the car up, take off the rods that go from the arms to the sensor, and manually move the plastic arm up and down, the headlights go up and down, so everything is working fine.
