Bought these led bulbs to go in my fish tank and wondered how I could make them waterproof?

I have the exact LEDs and fish tank as specified here

They would have to go in some sort of waterproof container most likely.

Back when I worked at a sign writer we were always told that you couldn't encase/waterproof regular LED's as they would succumb to their own heat.

I have no idea if this is true, but for this reason we always used specifically water proof LED's that cost a fortune.

Yeah the biggest problem with LED's is the heat they dissipate
