Hi folks, i was looking for toolbox dividers for my roll cab but they seem to be
Silly money for what they are!
So i was thinking if i get some plastic strips i could cut them up to size and make
my own ones but cant seem to find anything suitable! Dont know if im searching for
the right thing in calling it strips of plastic or pvc. Anyone any ideas?
Ideally looking for something a mm or 2 thick, and about 1 inch wide, length doesnt
matter as will be getting cut to size anyway but ideally will need a good few metres as
it will be doing a couple of drawers.
Any help would be much appreciated! Would be ideal if its availible in b and q or the likes so
I could just pop in and buy it! Thanks

A good challenging question Alan, mainly cos i've never had em and didn't even realise you could buy them already made.
What make is your cab?

Its a snap on cab and top box, snap on do them and another few companies do but all seem overpriced for what is just a strip of plastic
Just to keep a couple of drawers a bit tidier where they have a mixture of tools lying about, as i say id rather just make them up myself its just finding some material that would do the job

I'm racking my brains trying to think of anywhere I might have seen anything appropriate and i'm coming up blank.
I bet the Tamp-On price was hilariously high. And I bet they weren't even branded, so were probably made in Vietnam.
I would suggest getting a couple of these cheap PVC crates and chopping them up, but the material would probably be too thin, plus you might not get enough length out of one, if you've got one of those stupid huge cabs.
Deffo worth trying a Homebase or similar for strips of PVC etc I reckon.

Oh my god! I was thinking fifty for enough to do the whole cab.
NINETY per drawer For something with a material value of about two quid
Snap-on are such a bunch of cunts
